This Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak is the latest edition of the distillery’s annual release, Matured entirely in Sherry Oak casks. It has nose of Clove-studded orange, Christmas cake and cinnamon very festive! Savoury hints of oak and new leather develop later on. Palate is Dense shortbread and strawberry jam, more clove, toasted coconut and brown sugar. A hint of fiery ginger appears underneath waves of sweet sherry richness in finish.
