The south-east of Piedmont – the Asti, Cuneo, Alessandria triangle – is the cradle of this low-grade elixir called Moscato d’Asti. Soft, but light as a feather, to enjoy as an aperitif or to accompany a fruit salad or a tiramisu, why not? A bit sparkling – frizzante only – it has a magical aroma and a surprising lightness in the mouth. The perfect wine to end a good meal on a sweet note, but not too much.
